McManus shared that he just went on a cruise in a recent video on Instagram. As he shared in the caption, “Cruising with @cunardline through Southeast Alaska was incredible! I have never in my life received such an amazing level of treatment, the Queen herself would be jealous!”

In the video, Casey shared that, “Captain Casey back with you. I know I haven’t been around very much but kind of doing something cool, something that nobody would ever expect out of me. I’m on a boat in Alaska, but it’s a cruise ship, the Queen Elizabeth, and it’s beautiful.”

“From the moment you step on board, you are treated like absolute royalty. Kenard Lines is known for being eloquent and decadent. The state rooms are absolutely beautiful. And for those of you who haven’t cruised before, the level of state room that you stay in dictates where you dine. So make sure you get nice accommodations.”

McManus also shared that he got to meet up with the Bering Sea Crab Fishermen’s Tour. While there, he shared that “they allowed me to be part of the crew for a half a day and go out with a tour before returning back to the ship.”

Captain Casey Said He Would Explain More In A Few More Posts

However, throughout the video, McManus showed off a change in appearance. While not directly talked about in the video’s narration, a subtitle towards the end revealed he had lost nearly 100 pounds.

Many fans noted McManus’ new appearance. As one user wrote, “So good to see you. You look great. [You lost] a lot of weight.” Another wrote, “You look amazing Captain Casey!!! Miss you on the shows. Glad you are still doing well.”

After one commenter suggested McManus had used Ozempic, another user asked him how he lost weight. McManus himself responded, saying, “I’ll spill the beans on that a few posts from now.”

On the Deadliest Catch Reddit page, a fan took notice of the video. As they shared, “I’m glad to see that he is doing well, he looks really good in that video he posted on Insta, sucks that he changed careers but it’s amazing that he has taken care of himself and improved his life!”
