Deadliest Catch Captain Keith Colburn collapses on boat after heated argument
Deadliest Catch Captain Keith Colburn, 61, collapses aboard the F/V Wizard. In an all-new episode, the long-time cast member and crab boat captain has his brother, Monte ‘Mouse’ Colburn, deeply concerned as he finds Keith laying on the floor of the wheelhouse.
Discovery Channel brings a brand new installment of Deadliest Catch to screens this fall. Airing on Tuesday, September 24, season 20 episode 15 sees Captain Keith suffer a medical emergency. The show is renowned for its precarious conditions, but this time around, it’s not the weather that’s caused the crew member to fall ill.
Deadliest Catch Captain Keith Colburn collapses
Season 20 is nearing its final episodes this fall, but the drama aboard the Deadliest Catch vessels isn’t slowing down at all.
During episode 15, an Arctic storm strikes the F/V Northwestern causing Captain Sig Hansen to become blown off course, Captain Keith collapses in the wheelhouse, and Jake Anderson deals with the loss of his longtime co-worker.
Captain Keith and his brother are aboard the Wizard when he collapses to the ground. Monte shouts to ask if his brother is OK as he takes the wheel of the fishing vessel.
Deadliest Catch captains had a fight
Prior to Monte finding his brother collapsed on the Wizard, the two had a heated argument.
Episode 15 sees Keith say: “You said on the West side…” before Monte adds: “Which is where you said we should go…”
The two fight over the direction of the fishing vessel as Keith shouts: “You have no idea how to run a crew…Who’s paying the fuel? Who’s paying everything?”
Monte then tells his brother he’s “tired of this,” before telling him he’s “not talking right now.”
Tensions clearly raised too much for Captain Keith. He disappears out of the scene before he’s heard hitting the ground.
Monte rushes to his brother’s side and asks: “Are you alright? Talk to me bro… Are you OK?”
Per Keith’s Instagram page, he appears to be OK after the fall. He took to IG on September 11 to remember the 9/11 victims. He writes in his bio he’s a “safety advocate,” “dad,” and “entrepreneur.”
