The 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way cast member explains that she will be the sole breadwinner while she and her British girlfriend are on the road. However, she feels that she has spent more money to make their van life happen. So, she decides to bring up the topic.
Statler tells Dempsey that she is trying to be more mindful about financially supporting the person she is in a relationship with. However, her British girlfriend says that she told her that she wants to provide for her and look after her financially. Yet, she explains she doesn’t want to do that 100 percent for someone.
Statler Wants Dempsey to Contribute
Statler admits that she would love to spoil Dempsey. However, in reality, she can’t because she is in a lot of debt. She know she agreed that she wouldn’t have to work. But that wasn’t a long-term plan. In the future, she wants them to be financially independent and have jobs.
The 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way castmate wants them both to have money coming in eventually. However, her British lover isn’t as worried. She explains that she puts her trust in the universe and that she will make money wherever she is. Yet, she doesn’t know how she will make the money. But she doesn’t have any money concerns.
Dempsey knows that Statler is the type of person who likes to have a plan. However, she isn’t like that, and she feels that she knew that was how she was when they first met. So, she thinks they will have to work together on it.

Dempsey Wilkinson tells Statler Riley that she still has her last month’s wages going into her bank account and money left over from selling her car. So she doesn’t have any worries about earning money. She has always been independent and made money when she needed it.
Statler admits that it is the first time she has heard that Dempsey has extra money. The 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way reality star explains that she was told that they needed money right away for the van. So, she put herself in an uncomfortable position to get the money. Yet, she says, in reality, her British girlfriend “has all this money stashed away.” And that makes her feel betrayed.
