Amy Slaton & Brian Lovvorn Show PDA After Chris Bails Them Out
Amy Slaton Halterman was arrested with her friend Brian Lovvorn on Monday. The pair were released from jail on Tuesday after Amy’s brother Chris Combs posted their bond. Chris Combs Bailed Amy Slaton Out Of Jail
TLC star Amy Slaton was arrested on Monday at a drive-through zoo in Tennessee. Police were called to the scene by an employee of Safari Park stating that a visitor had been bitten by a camel.
Upon their arrival, authorities said they smelled a suspicious odor coming from the car. Inside, they allegedly uncovered magic mushrooms and marijuana. Amy was in the car with her friend, Brian Lovvorn, and her two children.
Amy and Brian were charged with possession of Schedule I and IV drugs as well as child endangerment. They were both held in Crockett County Jail on $10,000 bond each.
The 1000-Lb. Sisters star’s brother Chris Combs came to the rescue. He posted their bond on Tuesday and the pair were released.
Are Brian & Amy In A Relationship?
There has been some speculation about the relationship between Amy and Brian since the news of the arrest broke. The pair were spotted holding hands as they left jail on Tuesday.
Amy had on a loose black tank top with grey-and-pink camo shorts. She had her hair up in a messy bun and had a blue bandage tied around her right arm, assumed to be from her brief hospital visit prior to her arrest. Amy Slaton was reportedly bitten by one of the camels at the park.
Brian sported a white t-shirt and pink shorts with mirrored sunglasses and a ballcap. He kept his head down to avoid photographers and local media on the way out.
Public Information Officer Stephen Sutton told The U.S. Sun, “They left the jail at 3:19 pm CT and are due in court Thursday [at] 8:30 am before general sessions judge Paul Conley.”
The 8:30 a.m. status hearing is set to determine whether or not Amy Slaton and her friend have retained attorneys for their upcoming case.
It has been reported that the Department of Children’s Services has gotten involved in the case. They released Amy’s kids to her sister, Tammy Slaton.
Amy Slaton and her ex-husband Michael Halterman share custody of their two children. Gage, 4, and Glenn, 2, will potentially be placed with their dad while an investigation is carried out into Amy’s fitness as a parent.
Since their split, Amy has publicly dated two other men, Tony and Scott. It isn’t clear if Brian is another romance or if they were just platonically holding hands leaving jail.
