My Big Fat Fabulous Life: Whitney Thore Wants Half-Sister Angie’s Approval
Whitney Thore is getting ready for an important event for her family. She decides to wear a long black sleeveless dress to the event. However, she wants to get her half-sister, Angie’s, approval of her outfit. So, she calls her sister into her room to see what she is wearing. Having a sister to get fashion advice from is something she didn’t grow up having. Angie thinks she looks “so beautiful” in the black dress.
However, the My Big Fat Fabulous Life reality star can’t help but notice that her half-sister is wearing high heels and she’s not. She shows Anige the small heels that she is wearing to the event. Yet, her half-sister wouldn’t consider her shoes to be a heel.
Angie loves how Whitney looks in the dress. However, she notices something when her half-sister lifts up her arms to show off what she is wearing. She says, “What the hell is under your armpits?” The TLC star asks if she has lint under her arms. But her sister finds it shocking to see hair on her armpits.
Whitney Lets Body Hair Grow
Whitney asks Angie what is wrong with having armpit hair. Her half-sister doesn’t like the idea of it. She says the TLC star has hair under her armpit that she can braid. She feels that if her sister wore her long-sleeve dress, she could get away with the hair. However, her dress is sleeveless. So, she feels the hair has got to go.
The My Big Fat Fabulous Life cast member thinks she can feel bad about many things. However, one thing that she will not feel bad about is “hair that grows naturally” on her body. She doesn’t care about having leg hair or hair under her armpits.
However, Whitney doesn’t like having hair on her face or her “downstairs.” But anywhere else on her body, she says, “Please give me hair.”

Angie isn’t letting Whitney Thore go to this event with hair on her armpits. So, she asks her if she has a razor. The TLC star tells her no and that she hasn’t shaved her armpits in over a year. She thinks it’s fine because no one is going to see her armpits.
Angie feels that they have to tame the hair on the My Big Fat Fabulous Life castmate’s armpits. She knows that they are going to a fancy event. So, she wants to help Whitney and shave her hair. However, she says she can grow the hair back after if she wants. But will she ditch the bush on her armpits?
