It’s been ten years, and Whitney Way Thore is going nowhere. She is all set to mark her return as the new season of My Big Fat Fabulous Life premieres on TV soon. To celebrate, she gave an interview to ET. Everyone knows the star for being very jovial and lively. But things took a very dark turn as Whitney opened up about many things.
She revealed how she had never received the kind of hate she did after her mother’s passing. Whitney even contemplated su*cide because things got so bad. She received texts like her mother must be rolling over “in her grave” or how Babs “hated her” or was “disappointed” in her. It was quite a difficult time for Whitney when her mother, Babs Thore, passed away in December 2022.
In fact, Whitney and her family had also faced tons of backlash for airing Bab’s funeral on TV. They called it rather insensitive to try to exploit a departed soul for the sake of making more money and high TRP ratings. The MBFFL star had not responded much to the hate back then, but fans finally know how difficult it was for her after Whitney’s recent reveal.

While opening up about trolls attacking Whitney with their mean comments, she said it was just the tip of the iceberg. When the previous MBBFL season was premiering, someone had also egged her house. Although the star had a security system and everything, the cops still had to intervene to ensure she was safe.
Whitney also recalled yet another incident from a few years ago. Cops showed up at her house around 3 am in the morning while saying they received a “death threat” against her. Someone had claimed to kill her with a “knife” that very night. Hence, they showed up at her house to perform a “wellness check.”
With a heavy heart, Whitney called all the “harassment” “insane.” All of it was happening just because she was a part of the reality TV world. Well, her will-wishers are glad Whitney tackled all these obstacles and refused to give up.
