Much like many more 90 Day Fiancé cast members, Angela Deem is a reality star who shot to fame due to her larger-than-life personality. She’s appeared in nine spin-off series and continues to gain fame for her time on the show alongside her partner, Michael Ilesanmi.

Trust issues, visa delays, and cakes thrown in faces – Angela and Michael’s time on 90 Day Fiancé has been dramatic, to say the least. Now, Drew Barrymore and Ross Mathews welcome Angela Deem onto The Drew Barrymore Show where she lifts the lid on her current relationship status.

The first guest to appear on Ross’ segment is someone he says he’s “obsessed with” – Angela Deem.

In true Angela style, the reality TV star says she can speak her mind because she “pays taxes.”

Angela is known for “keeping it real,” says Ross. She strides onto the stage and tells the show’s hosts they can address her as “queen.”

The TLC star explains why she opts for that name over “meemaw,” “Ang,” or something closer to her real name.

“You can call me queen,” she says, before adding: “I say that, because I back women, we’re all queens, you know?”

She also tells the hosts she “doesn’t care about haters,” adding: “I’m going to say what I want to say.”

Angela ‘wasn’t looking for love’

After meeting Michael on Facebook, Angela headed to Nigeria to meet him in person during The Other Way.

She explains in her interview with Drew and Ross how she wasn’t looking for love when she met Michael online.

The grandmother says that at 52 years old, she was just happy with her family as it was but her relationship with Michael went from “messenger” to “video call.”

When asked what it was like when she and Michael finally met in person after around a year of talking, she replied: “It was chicka-chicka-bow-wow.”

Unprompted, the “hyper” reality star adds: “Two weeks I was there, we had sex 37 times in two weeks.”

“Ain’t nothing wrong with my memory, honey,” she jokes.

She also reveals that she and Michael are “absolutely” still together.
