90 Day Fiancé stars David Toborowsky and Angela Deem are big-time reality stars who’ve radically changed their images over the years, and their recent eyebrow transformations are startling. David’s the gentler of the two – the start of his love story with Annie Suwan Toborowsky was controversial, but the two reality icons are endearing. Their love seems genuine, and David’s weight-loss journey highlights his grit and determination. Angela’s the wild card – always fiery and passionate, she adjusts her image to feel like a queen. Both have been through tough experiences, but their eyebrow makeovers are too extreme.
In the franchise, David has carved out his own identity, moving beyond the most grinding poverty. He couldn’t even afford Annie’s dowry. Through hard work, he has risen above. He’s always there for Annie and his makeover’s linked with a desire to feel better, live longer and embrace an eternally youthful mindset. All of these things are admirable. Angela’s reeling after a breakup with Michael Ilsenami, whom she may be trying to get deported. Her latest eyebrow tweak seems like a revenge makeover which is designed to make her Green Card-hunting ex miss her. This is futile.
David’s Dark Eyebrow Look Isn’t So Natural
Maybe A More Subtle Change Would Have Looked Better
David looks great, but his new eyebrows are very dark, as seen in the post above. He is smiling and looking fit, but a less dramatic brow look might be more flattering. Of course, he should do whatever he likes to feel good, but natural eyebrows always look nice. Darkening brows significantly can look unnatural. David’s new Hollywood eyebrows don’t necessarily accent his looks. In fact, they are distracting.
While it’s understandable that David, who is in the public eye, is image-conscious, he may be going too far. If he chose lighter brows, even by a couple of shades, they wouldn’t dominate his facial features the way that they do right now. They’d frame his face without being so overpowering. Since this picture was taken, David actually appears to have toned down his brows. David‘s latest Instagram post shows him with brows that match his graying hair. He looks nice and very natural.
Radical changes to hair and brow color can be interesting, but most fashion experts advise people to keep their hair a little lighter as they get older. So, maybe gray or salt-and-pepper hair and brows are the best options for David.

Angela isn’t the total villain she’s made out to be. Yes, she’s a very flawed human being, but sometimes, with Michael, she was all sweetness and light. She gave this man so many chances. When he cheated with a woman he gave a ride to, she was enraged but soon forgave him. When he was so obviously greedy, openly asking her for money, she found ways to excuse his low conduct. Unfortunately, the very dark brows that Angela’s sporting now give her a real Disney villain look.
Angela’s Cruella de Vil brows are sketchy. They pull the eye away from her tanned skin, pretty smile and other attributes. It’s hard to notice anything but those very dark and prominent brows. If Angela lightened her brows just a bit, it would make such a difference. However, she seems to love her current look. She’s on tour, giving fans a taste of her bold and bombastic charm. Angela’s loud, funny and aggressive. That’s just who she is.
With a softer brow color, she might charm some of her haters. She prefers to call them out instead.

As David and Annie prepare to welcome a baby together (they announced that Annie’s pregnant on July 5), they’re in such a magical phase of their life together. Their IVF journey was successful, so David has a lot more to think about than how he looks. However, his seeming decision to tone down his brows was a smart one. He’ll be an older dad to the baby at age 56, and there’s no reason why he should try to look younger with eyebrow tweaks. He’s perfect just as he is.

Both 90 Day Fiancé stars are taking care of themselves, but they don’t need pitch-black eyebrows. Hopefully, Angela will tone hers down as that will really bring out her natural beauty. Michael didn’t see the beauty in Angela but that doesn’t mean that it isn’t there. Beauty’s in the eye of the beholder.
