This season on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way has been a bit odd. The couples featured on the show don’t seem to have a lot in common and they are going through some tough times. One of the couples on this season of the show, Statler Riley and Dempsey Wilkinson are working on their relationship now that Statler moved to England to be with Dempsey.
Statler gave up her entire life to move to England with Dempsey and travel the world in their van. The van purchase wasn’t easy, but they are now together. When Statler finally got to England to meet with Dempsey face-to-face, she was less than thrilled to see her. They ended up having a blowout fight about why Statler wasn’t excited to see Dempsey. The financial issues are coming between the women and it is clear now that they are together.
Statler did everything that she could to make enough money to help pay for the van that they will be living out of. She took out a loan and even after that, Dempsey said that they didn’t have enough money. After watching the episode of the show, fans were curious as to what caused Statler to act this way. She did open up about it on social media.
90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Spoilers – Why Statler Was Upset
After showing her true feelings toward her girlfriend, Statler’s followers wanted to know why she was so sour with Dempsey. She took to social media to share her feelings about what she was thinking when she got to England. She wrote, “You can’t just take a break from filming- even when you’re needing sleep. This was a very long day and filming had only just begun because it was morning in England when I arrived. I knew I was expected to do a full day of filming (which did happen) and I was already past my point of being over it. Dempsey was well rested and hadn’t been working as she had quit her job two weeks before. Meanwhile, I was still working full-time.”
It did seem as if Dempsey was very excited to see her girlfriend, but the attitude that she got from Statler wasn’t exactly what she had planned for. These two have been going through some tough times and according to Statler, she never wanted to be on the show in the first place.
