Whitney Way Thore Expresses Regret Over Being Unmarried
Over the years, My Big Fat Fabulous Life fans have watched Whitney Way Thore search for love. But is this season really the right time to bring it up?
Whitney’s niece Jaime is getting married, but all she can do is wallow in her own self-pity. Fans are aggravated and don’t think this is a good look for the TLC star.
Whitney Way Thore Wishes She Was Married Already
As the years come and go, MBFFL fans have watched Whitney fall in and out of love. She always wanted to get married, but her 40th birthday came and went, leaving Whitney feeling totally dejected. Now, she will touch on that in an upcoming episode.
“Whitney reflects on being engaged at 22 #MyBigFatFabLife,” the official TLC Instagram account shared. In the video, Whitney describes her quest for love and how she was once engaged at a young age.
“It’s bizarre to me because I look at y’all and I think… that you seem so young, but at the same time, I mean you’re getting married obviously, but like most of those girls are married and have children already. It’s so weird because that’s how my life could have gone, but it didn’t. Right? And instead here I am just collecting cats and harboring,” the TLC star shares with her niece.
The clip then switches to a confessional where Whitney confesses she regrets not being married already.
“I was engaged when I was 22 I believe. And it’s interesting to look back on and think, ‘wow I’m a different person and I was so young then and whatever.’ But I can’t say that I’m happy that I didn’t get married,” she laughs. “Obviously it wasn’t the right decision for that partnership, but I certainly wish I was married now. I feel like getting married over 40 is like, ‘oh, good for her.’”
