So what happened to Tina? Will she return to the show? Read on to learn more.

Tina Arnold Isn’t Coming Back To 1000-Lb Best Friends Anytime Soon

At the end of 1000-Lb Best Friends Season 2, Tina Arnold backed out of her bariatric surgery at the last minute. But after the cameras stopped rolling, she actually quit the show entirely. However, she remained active on Instagram and kept her fans informed. She used her platform to cite reasons for her exit, including having issues with TLC.

Tina never personally agreed with having bariatric surgery for weight loss purposes and claimed that TLC didn’t see a path for her on the show moving forward.

Many viewers understand quitting a show that goes against one’s personal values. However, Tina didn’t stop there. In the comments section of one Instagram post, she also went on an unhinged rant and accused Vannessa Cross of being TLC’s cash cow.

It’s not immediately clear if she completely burned bridges with everyone at TLC, but fans shouldn’t expect to see Tina Arnold on the show anytime soon.

Tina Arnold may not have been keen on surgery, but she’s still working on her health and weight loss goals in her own time. The day of the Season 3 premiere, she uploaded a new post to show off her personal journey.

“To those questioning my progress: 😉😘🫶🏻” Tina began on Instagram. “Everyone’s journey is different, and while I may not have taken the rapid route of weight loss surgery, I am incredibly proud of the weight I’ve lost so far. I am doing this with sheer determination while managing PCOS, peri-menopause, depression, anxiety, and the daily stresses of life.”

She went on to say that her progress is still going onward and upward, even if the public doesn’t always see it.

“Thanks for your concern,’ but I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and I’m still going,” she continued. “And to anyone else on this journey without surgery, remember that your progress is yours alone. Don’t let your naysayers diminish your hard work.”
