After reaching a major weight loss goal, the reality TV star Vanessa Cross has now broken down her main strategy. Outside of 1000 Lb Best Friends, she told UsWeekly that her goal weight was 180 Pounds. When Dr. Procter set her goal weight, she didn’t believe she could actually lose more than 270 lbs. Now, she has given insights about the extreme measures she has taken to lose hundreds of pounds.
Since Vanessa is in the third year of her journey, she feels she is at a stable weight. All thanks to her habit of not counting calories. She avoids counting calories because she fails to consume 2,000 calories daily. Therefore, she only takes 1,000 to 1,500 calories due to her stomach capacity. Even if she tries to eat more, her stomach only allows a certain amount after bariatric surgery.

Vanessa Cross excitedly mentioned her food habits and routine in the interview. The TLC celeb is currently eating soft foods due to ongoing medical conditions. She further shared her go-to foods for a typical day. At first, she starts her morning with coffee and a protein shake, which is important in her routine.
Vanessa then eats one egg and bagel thins for breakfast. During lunch time, most of the time, she enjoys grilled chicken and broccoli with added spices and condiments like mustard. In case of sweet cravings, she opts for an Atkins bar. At dinner, she prepares roast beef with a potato dish since potatoes are one of her weaknesses.
However, nothing of that sort happens now to Vanessa after consuming unhealthy food. She allows herself to cheat some days by consuming yogurts or puddings that taste like candy bars. Additionally, she is allowed to have 12 grams of sugar per serving. Right now, Vanessa’s favorite foods for cheat days are lime pie and an extra piece of bread.
