Before joining Season 3 of 1000 Lb Best Friends, Scott Bagwill was involved in many things. He showed his versatility and skills in multiple jobs. According to Scott, he worked as a Personal Vacation Planner at Carnival Cruise Line from May 2021 to June 2023. During his time there, he assisted clients in planning their holidays, booking cruises, accommodations, and activities.
Scott also ventured into radio where he served as an on-air talent for Magic 105.9. He used to host overnight shows from midnight at 4 A.M. In addition to his roles in travel and entertainment, the new recruit of the TLC show taught at the Cottage School. He has also served as an ambassador for the Maple Street Biscuit Company, accelerating the growth and building its community.
Academically, Scott holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Grand Canyon University. He also has a Master’s Education in Special Education from Kennesaw State University’s Norman J. Radow College of Humanities and Social Sciences. In an interview with the KeloCast podcast, Scott revealed how he entered the popular TLC show. He stated, “I got on the show by looking into weight loss surgery.”
