1000-Lb Best Friends star Vannessa Cross is in the hospital after experiencing surgery complications. For now, she seems to be well enough to engage with friends, family, and fans. The TLC personality posted on her Instagram stories on Sunday to give everyone an update on her health.
But she also issued a very serious warning. Vannessa doesn’t want anyone to end up in her shoes.
TLC Star Vannessa Cross Announces She’s Back In The Hospital
1000-Lb Best Friends fans love and adore Vannessa Cross. She’s worked incredibly hard to lose weight and live a healthier life. However, one of her worst habits put her back in the hospital and nearly killed her.
“Happy Sunday everyone I hope everyone has a blessed day. I have been in the hospital since Thursday, will be here for a few more days,” Vannessa shared on her Instagram stories. “The pouch where he cut my stomach and my intestines I ended up with an ulcer that they had to fix and put back together. I’m having to be fed through a tube in my stomach.”
Naturally, this post sparked concern among Vannessa’s fans. She continued and begged her followers to be extremely careful with lifestyle choices after weight loss surgery.
“I want to give out a warning to anyone that has had the gastric bypass, the sleeve, any of these surgeries, quit smoking cigarettes. If you do smoke cigarettes be real careful. Try not to eat spicy foods,” the TLC star continued. “There are limitations and just be careful in your activities. This has really been an eye-opening experience for me and just please pray for me and my family. Thank you so much.”
